Terms of service

1. What littlenote is

littlenote is an address book for crypto addresses: you save addresses, give them names, tags, and notes, and littlenote helps you find the right one. littlenote is not a wallet, exchange, or custodian. It never holds funds or private keys, cannot execute transactions, and provides no financial advice. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

2. Your account and recovery code

Accounts are identified by a username and protected by a password. Because we never collect an email address, the one-time recovery code shown at sign-up is the only way to regain access if you forget your password. You are responsible for storing it safely. If you lose both your password and your recovery code, your account and its contents are permanently inaccessible — we cannot recover them for you, by design. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use littlenote for unlawful purposes, including facilitating fraud, scams, or sanctions evasion;
• attempt to breach, probe, or overload the service, or to access other users' data;
• create accounts or submit content by automated means, or resell the service;
• use share links or feature requests to distribute unlawful, deceptive, or malicious content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Plans and pricing

The Free plan includes a limited number of saved addresses. The Pro plan ($3/month) removes that limit and adds further features as they ship. Prices and plan contents may change; changes to a paid plan take effect at the next billing period, and we will announce them in advance. Where payment processing is offered, additional terms of the payment provider may apply.

5. Your content

The addresses, names, notes, and tags you save remain yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store, encrypt, back up, and display them to you — and to anyone you share them with via a share link. Share links you create are your responsibility: anyone with the link can see the fields you opted into until the link expires or is deleted. If you submit feature requests or feedback, you grant us the right to use those ideas without restriction or compensation.

6. Always verify addresses

littlenote's chain detection and your saved entries are conveniences, not guarantees. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Before sending funds, always verify the full address independently. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for funds sent to a wrong, outdated, or mistyped address, for addresses saved incorrectly, or for any loss arising from reliance on chain detection.

7. Service, warranty, and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time; if we ever discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create legal or security risk for the service, and will state the reason where legally required.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will update the date at the top and announce material changes in the app; continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of littlenote resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. As a signed-in user, you can reach us through the feature request form in the account menu.
